At the start of the week not one of us could guess what this even meant - however we did know it was to do about the conscience!
First we defined what a conscienctious objector was and found out that it was someone in the war that made the decision not to fight which we all thought was wrong to begin with. By the end of the week, most of us thought a little differently to how we did to begin with and realised it wasn't just as simple and not wanting to fight.
For our topic history work we created powerpoints explaining all about the conscientious objectors, what their views were and what happened to them... Some of the powerpoints are below.
